iPhone 12 issues fixed with software update

If you have one of the new iPhone 12 models there is a software update just for you.

Apple has issued a collection of bug fixes for the various models of iPhone 12 including the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

iOS 14.2.1 fixes, among other things: a bug that prevented some messages arriving from Android users, and a bug that caused poor sound quality with some accessories.

In addition, Apple has overcome the an issue with the lock screen on the iPhone 12 mini, which we noted the other day. Read: iPhone 12 mini users complain about unresponsive lock screen.

If you have any of the affected iPhone 12 models, you can download the update by going to Settings > General > Software update.

There have also been reports of a yellow screen tint in the iPhone 12 models, but it is unknown if this update fixes that.

iOS 14.2 is the latest version of iOS 14 for other users, it arrived on 5 November.
